Nutrition is very important in your program. Majority of the children attending an early education program consume most of their meals at the Center Monday through Friday. By providing well balance meals the children are being served all the nutrients that are needed for growth.
Menus should be created by using the food guide pyramid.
Breakfast - bread, fruit, milk
Lunch/Supper - meat, bread, vegetable, fruit and milk
Snack can be from any of the two above
